Program Overview

Amidst controversy surrounding attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), increasing financial pressures appear to be a mainstay in the US health care system. Rising specialty drug spend-coupled with more stringent payer management efforts in terms of contracting, utilization management, patient cost share coupled with uncertainty surrounding the 340B program and flat federal funding have created a challenging environment for HTCs. CCSC provides a unique forum for HTC clinicians to collaborate with payers in order to facilitate the sustainability of the HTC care model.
